Every day, you'll help create confident smiles and contribute to the long-term oral health of the community.What you'll do:Create a welcoming environment for patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their pediatric journey.Support patients through complex pediatric procedures, helping them feel informed, calm, and confident throughout their treatment experience.Work alongside the Pediatric Dentist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience tailored to each patient's needs.Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery to promote healing and long-term oral health.Coordinate care and follow-ups, ensuring patients receive timely treatment and clear communication throughout their visit.Maintain detailed and accurate records to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care.Foster a collaborative team environment by staying proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality specialty care.Contribute to the success of the pediatric practice by helping manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support.Responsibilities:Greeting guests with a smile.Assisting Pediatric Dentist with proceduresSterilizing instruments and setting up trays, preparing treatment rooms.Assisting with conscious and iv sedation.Performing X-rays.Charting existing and recommended treatments.Performing other duties as required to support the office and team.What do you need to have to be a part of our team?Active Registered Dental Assistant LicenseCurrent CPR certificationCoronal Polishing certification (not required but a plus!)Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant in a Pediatric dental practice.Must be willing to travel within assigned areasWhy You'll Love It Here:At Ideal Dental, we're committed to helping you grow professionally, providing you with opportunities to expand your skills, work with cutting-edge technology, and make a lasting impact on your patients.
