Repair Associate

Location: Fremont, CA Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 hourly Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:45 pm Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring for a Repair Associate with a leading manufacturer in the area. Responsibilities

• Perform component replacements, part swaps, and basic reassembly of server equipment following SOPs and engineer instructions
• Follow standard repair processes, ensuring accurate material usage and proper documentation
• Record replaced components and repair activity in the shop floor system
• Process defective parts for return-to-vendor (RTV) or scrap according to guidelines
• Support daily repair output goals to meet production targets
• Conduct basic visual inspections and verify labeling after repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow ESD and safety procedures
• Escalate electrical issues or abnormal findings to Debug Technicians or Engineers

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of PC/server hardware components (memory, hard drives, fans, power supplies, etc.)
• Experience with mechanical assembly or parts replacement preferred
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks
• Team-oriented with solid communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience in electronics assembly, repair, or manufacturing preferred
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of repair tracking systems

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift
• Handle servers and components weighing up to 50 lbs
• Work in an ESD-controlled environment while wearing required PPE
