LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This first shift position offers $20 to $24 per hour and provides the opportunity to join a growing organization with long-term potential. We are seeking candidates with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and previous accounts payable experience.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Review, verify, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience required
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
