Associate Provost for International Education and Global Programs

The client seeks a strategic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative leader to serve as the next Associate Provost for International Education and Global Programs (APIE). Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, the APIE leads the Office of International Education and Global Programs and acts as the university’s champion for international education, including global partnership development and coordination across the institution’s global locations. The APIE will help turn the university’s strategic vision for global reach and mindset into coordinated action across academics, operations, and partnership development. The role involves advancing global learning goals and supporting data-informed, transparent practices that enhance outcomes for students, faculty, and the institution, while building on the client’s established commitment to international education and its expanding global footprint. The APIE will partner with deans, department heads, global campus leadership, the Faculty Senate, and other governance and administrative stakeholders. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of the global education landscape and demonstrated experience creating and managing global programs, including fiscal oversight, and will collaborate with relevant offices (including Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, Legal and Risk Management, and college leadership) to ensure compliance and support for global initiatives; the APIE will also serve on the board of the Global Delivery Corporation.
