Your Role As part of the Tax Operations and Innovation team, you will support continuous improvement and technology advancement across the tax department, serving a variety of commercial industries. Participate in developing and implementing a tax technology strategy/roadmap to automate, streamline, and standardize tax operations. Develop low‑to‑none code technology solutions for the tax department. Collaborate with Tax Subject Matter Experts to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain tools and templates used by engagement teams. Work closely with individuals across the tax department to gather needs and deliver technology solutions. Apply your educational background to work with engagement teams on technology tools, including internally developed and third‑party vendor solutions. Gain understanding of the firm’s technology stack and tax processes. Analyze technology vendors and products to inform investment decisions. Participate in strategic research projects on advanced technology. Assist with deployment efforts such as change management and training. Utilize basic project and process management skills to manage multiple complex projects effectively. Bring opportunities for improvement on product development aligned with the firm’s growth initiatives. Apply an innovative, outside‑the‑box mindset to projects. Network to build relationships within and outside the firm. Contribute to establishing internal standards and processes for the practice. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, tax, accounting information systems, data analytics, or a related field. Academic success: minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Meticulous problem‑solving, communication, and analytical skills. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, APIs, and SQL preferred.
