Advertising Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Advertising Attorney to join its team in New York. The role involves supporting a dynamic practice representing major national and international brands across a broad range of advertising, marketing, and promotional matters. Duties Advise clients on advertising and marketing law, including claim substantiation and consumer protection. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements. Handle sweepstakes, promotions, and influencer marketing matters. Review advertising and marketing materials for legal compliance. Support clients in FTC, FDA, and state attorney general investigations. Engage in proceedings before the NAD, NARB, and CARU. Requirements 5 to 7+ years of experience in advertising and marketing law. Experience with consumer products, retail, technology, or media industries preferred. Strong analytical, drafting, and client counseling skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction.
