Sales and Marketing Associate

The Center for Spine & Orthopedics is a privately and locally owned surgical practice located in Thornton, CO. We are a Center of Excellence offering Spine, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Foot & Ankle, Podiatry, Pain Management, Physiatry, Physical Therapy and Chiropractic care.

We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Provider Relations Specialist to help our Marketing Director with various tasks including management of relationships with current and new referring practices, increasing our sales territory and referral patterns, and the ability to help with social media and digital marketing projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience, ideally in physician liaison or medical sales related roles, and skills in social media content creation. This position would require travel around 60% of the time and flexibility to work directly with the Marketing Director on digital marketing strategies, projects and campaigns during your time in the office.

The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, great communication and be very detailed in notes, follow-ups and documentation of sales and day-to-day projects. You will be given guidance by our knowledgeable team but also be able to work autonomously and further develop the role and relationships. You will work closely with our Marketing Director to increase patient referrals by building and maintaining physician and physician office staff relationships.

Physician Marketing Liaison

· Sustain and expand relationships with existing and new providers to increase practice specific patient referrals

· Help the Marketing Director to develop and facilitate new partnerships/sponsorships within the local community relevant to gaining new patients and expanding our brand in the marketplace

· Reports directly to the Marketing Director

· Drive new patient volume

· Build relationships with primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, occupational medicine, law firms, urgent care, physical therapy and chiropractic clinics to generate referrals

· Update CRM tool daily to track interactions, follow up visits, and information of referral sources

· Plan and execute referral lunches, meetings, webinars, virtual events, educational events and demonstrations with the help of the Marketing Director

· Facilitate introductions between referral sources and physicians and physical therapists in our practice

· Develop and maintain relationships with each referring physician's key office staff

· Identify new referral sources

· Complete daily calls and visits to new and existing referral sources

· Assist with digital marketing and social media campaigns, ability and willingness to create social media graphics and content is a huge plus

Qualifications

· Associate degree or higher

· Exceptional multi-tasking skills

· Ability to communicate effectively with and understand the needs of others in a sales relationship

· Solid knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Business Profiles is a plus

· Social media and SEO management experience preferred

· A high degree of personal motivation and drive to achieve personal and professional goals

· Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, orthopedics and sports medicine and/or prior experience within the medical field are preferred

· Ability and willingness to travel 60% of time, sales territory is from Lakewood/Golden on the west side, Lowry/Stapleton on the east side, and goes as far north as Longmont and Loveland and everything in between.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
