Surgical Tech - CVOR CST

CVOR Tech

The CVOR Tech will be responsible for assisting in cardiac surgical procedures. A minimum of 1 year experience in a CVOR role is necessary. Call and float requirements are part of this position. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory. NBSTSA certification is preferred but not required. Skills in angioplasty/stenting, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), and valve replacements are essential. Experience with various cardiac procedures and safety protocols is needed. The candidate should possess knowledge of aseptic techniques and endovascular aortic repair. The position may require floating to similar units based on facility needs. Travelers should be prepared for brief orientation upon arrival.
