Banquet Bartender

Leonard's is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and innovative bartender at our luxury catering facility. The bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of hospitality and beverage service for guests in an array of elegant events. At Leonard's the bartender will craft signature drinks and generate memorable experiences for event guests. Job Responsibilities: Ensure proper identification of customers to verify age requirements for consumption of alcohol. Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. Set-up and stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, and straws in accordance with the BEO. Prepare signature beverages as requested by event hosts. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from customers. Serve wine, beer, alcoholic mixed beverages, and non-alcoholic beverages. Clean bars, work areas, and tables as needed. Conduct credit card sales for events with “Cash Bars”. Slice and pit fruit for garnishing beverages. Responsible for breakdown of bar area and to return all beverages to the Steward’s office. Plan, organize, and control the operations of the bar. Job Requirements: Work is conducted in a fast-paced environment. Ability to see details at close range. Ability to multitask and organize many different projects. Ability to communicate and to convey information effectively. Must conduct oneself in a consistently positive, professional manner of high integrity and honesty. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. The ability to arrange items or actions in a particular order according to a specific rule or set of rules. Ability to learn programs specific to the company and job function. Multitasking ability. Identifying and solving problems. Must be able to organize, plan, and prioritize work.
