Full-Time Bartender / or Part-Time Event Bartender

The Dinex Group, the restaurant management company of Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for Full time/Part-time Bar Captain. Please note, this is an hourly position which does not typically receive gratuities.
Bar Captain – Key Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operations of the bar and lead the bar team during service.
Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
Prepare and oversee the quality and consistency of all beverages.
Train, coach, and support bartenders and bar support staff.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and liquor laws.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area at all times.
Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and bar closing procedures.
Assist with event setup and execution for banquet and private functions.
Communicate effectively with managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs for long periods of time
Professional demeanor
Understand and follow instructions given by managment
Restaurant/Banquet Experience
Attention to detail
Understanding SOP's of service
