Job Title Accounting Unit Account Trainee Salary $4,442.00 - $5,296.00 per Month Location California Energy Commission, Sacramento, CA – In Office (telework not available) Employment Type Permanent, Full Time Deadline Final Filing Date: 7/30/2026 Job Description The Accounting Unit Account Trainee works under the close supervision of Accounting Administrator I and functions as the department’s cashier. Responsibilities include processing all accounting items for the California Energy Commission, providing control and direction for accounting activities across all funds and programs, coordinating funding for program administration, and supporting initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications are specified in the Class Specification for this position. Working Conditions This role is office‑based with occasional in‑person attendance and limited travel. Regular, consistent attendance is essential.
