Sr. Payroll Specialist

Addison Group is partnering with a well‑known Orange County organization in the entertainment, sports, and live events space that is seeking payroll assistance to support their growing team. This is a 3+ month contract based role with potential to convert at the senior analyst level. Compensation: $40 to $45/HR Responsibilities: Process bi‑weekly and semi‑monthly multi‑state payroll Payroll tax compliance and reporting Audit payroll and time‑keeping data Reconcile payroll‑related accounts, 401(k) activity, tax filings, and year‑end reporting Partner with HR and Finance on payroll‑related matters Support payroll reporting, analysis, and special projects Requirements: 5+ years of payroll experience (for the senior level candidate) High volume multi‑state payroll experience Strong payroll compliance and payroll accounting knowledge Comfort working with HRIS, payroll, and time‑keeping systems Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, data validation, reconciliations, reporting) Experience processing payroll for 1,000–1,500+ employees Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
