Seeking a Director of Finance for a well-established company!

Job duties include:

• Responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems
• Will have oversight of all aspects of the accounting and finance functions and will be responsible for driving financial strategy and planning for assigned properties
• Will monitor and analyze capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses

Requirements:

• BA/BS in accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality finance industry
• Extensive knowledge of accounting software, implementing procedures/financial systems and controls, as well as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
• Must by highly analytical, can think creatively, and understand complex business dynamics
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to work under pressure, irregular hours, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements and events including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Accrual and cost accounting experience is preferred
