Geriatrician Section Head - Department of Medicine

Our organization is on the lookout for a Geriatric Section Head to spearhead our expanding program within the Division of General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics & Palliative Care. This individual will be instrumental in developing a comprehensive strategy for exceptional clinical services, education, and research aimed at older adults across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and home environments. The perfect candidate will be a compassionate, patient-focused team player and a leader eager to nurture the next generation of healthcare professionals while addressing the needs of our aging patient population.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with Geriatric Fellowship training.

• Eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina.

• Proven leadership experience in academia, teaching, or research.
