Program Manager

Primary Location Mechanicsville, Virginia. Program Manager V-Soft Consulting is hiring for a Program Manager for our premier client in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Education And Experience Experience with Program Management Office methodologies and practices is highly preferred. PMP Certification preferred. Tolling Experience preferred. Knowledge And Skills Fluency in MS Office tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office required. Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern infrastructure practices. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Job Responsibilities Strong experience leading the business and IT resources through the discovery and documentation of business and technical requirements in request for proposal and statement of requirement formats. Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating and team building. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models. Exceptional knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall program management principles and practices. Ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a particular program and business environment.
