Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
• Empowering patients and their families through education on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing treatments and medications in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions using electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Arkansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)
