Human Resource GeneralistWe are currently adding to our HR Team at Yark Automotive. The Human Resource Generalist is an entry level position and will be familiar with basic HR aspects and responsible for providing team member support. Focusing on continuing the same level of confidentiality, knowledge and respect that has been established over the years. Working with all departments and team members to make sure that the Yark message is presented in a positive and consistent manner. Keeping the Vision and Mission of the Yark Automotive Group as the foundation for all activities.Requirements:Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsComfortable learning, working with and eventually training others on various software platformsHave a basic knowledge of workers compensation, benefit administration and accident processing.Provide reporting on a number of HR related topics. This could include but is not limited to turnover, benefit enrollments and recruitment effortsComfortable with being responsible for the clerical duties related to HR processValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredNo concerns interacting with people in person and over the telephoneMust be a competent, confident, self-starterGood reasoning skills that mirror the philosophy of the organizationEffective organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills are requiredBasic understand of the various HR functions and their applications in corporate environmentStrong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and general office equipment skills and the flexibility and ability to learn new applications and systemsReasonable and Reliable AttendanceWilling to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screenEducation: Bachelor's Degree preferredMathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Multiply, DivideReading – read a variety of novels, technical magazines with excellent comprehensionWriting – prepare business letters, expositions, summaries and reports with proper formatSpeaking – communicate in a manner understandable by all levels of education.Reasoning Development: Apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
