Pay: $17.50/hour | Weekly Pay
Shift: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 PM–6:30 AM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Overview

Allegiance Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Operator for a distribution operation in Covington, GA.

This is a forklift and material-handling position responsible for safely moving materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products throughout the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse and forklift experience, follows safety procedures, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can maintain dependable attendance throughout the assignment.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment

• Move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products throughout the warehouse

• Use equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks

• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials as assigned

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Maintain accurate warehouse and material-handling records as required

• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

• Complete routine warehouse tasks accurately and efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Work within established productivity and quality standards

• Communicate effectively with coworkers, Team Leads, and Supervisors

• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or related experience

• Previous forklift experience required

• High school diploma or GED is not required

• Must be able to complete required forklift training or certification

• Must be able to pass a required 10-panel drug screening

• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• General computer skills

• Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment

• Strong communication skills

• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to follow instructions

• Must be available to work the complete Monday–Thursday overnight schedule

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding warehouse position.

Candidates should be prepared for:

• Standing and walking for extended periods

• Stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, crouching, and reaching

• Pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, and repetitive hand movements

• Lifting and/or moving 50+ pounds

• Operating equipment around moving mechanical parts

• Working in moderate to loud noise levels

• Working in a warehouse that may be hot during the summer and cold during the winter

Forklift Requirement

This is a forklift position. Candidates must have previous warehouse/material-handling experience and be comfortable safely operating powered equipment.

Safety, productivity, and following established operating procedures are essential.

Attendance Requirement

Candidates must be committed to reporting to work on time and completing the full scheduled shift each workday.
