As a Airport Security Officer- Full Time Patrol Detail in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this government setting, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials or access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations at a government transportation location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and helping with crowd management during busy periods, delays, and/or special circumstances.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
