Shift Lead – Marcos Pizza
Marcos Pizza is looking for a dependable and motivated Shift Lead to join our team!
As a Shift Lead, you will help oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the team during your shift, provide excellent customer service, and make sure the restaurant runs safely, efficiently, and smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the team during assigned shifts.
- Manage the flow of the shift and make sure employees are staying on task.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally.
- Ensure food is prepared correctly, safely, and according to Marcos Pizza standards.
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and restaurant appearance.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Handle cash, registers, and shift transactions accurately.
- Help manage inventory, food prep, and product availability.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Train and coach employees on company procedures and customer service.
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Help control food waste, labor, and operating costs.
- Make sure all employees follow company policies and procedures.
- Take charge of the restaurant and team when management is not present.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant management or supervisory experience required.
- Must have a current Southern Nevada Food Handler Card.
- Previous pizza or quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to lead by example.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required in a restaurant environment.
