Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid license and certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in public schools or educational settings (grade 3-12 preferred)
• Solid knowledge of psychoeducational assessments, IEP processes, and special education law (IDEA, FERPA)
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, specialists, families, and students
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations for students receiving special education services
• Review each student’s educational history, outside evaluations, and relevant medical or developmental background
• Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of assessments: psychological, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, behavioral, and academic
• Gather observational and anecdotal data from classrooms as well as input from teachers, caregivers, and allied service professionals
• Actively participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, behavior specialists, and school administrators
• Ensure full compliance with federal and state special education guidelines, timelines, and documentation standards
• Deliver thorough and timely psychological reports, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete
