ACCOUNTING MANAGER / ASSISTANT CONTROLLER - Newly Created Role – Awesome Corporate Culture! Growing company located in the DTC is seeking an Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller to join their team! This would be an ideal role for a CPA who is looking to transition out of public accounting and into a great industry role. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER / ASSISTANT CONTROLLER Month-end close procedures Account and sub‑ledger reconciliations Bank reconciliations Intercompany reconciliations Cash application Preparation of financial statements for international business Preparation of consolidated financial statements Management of one Accounting Clerk Assist in VAT filings and international regulatory filings Assist the Accounting Clerk with customer and vendor disputes Assist in year‑end financial audit QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER / ASSISTANT CONTROLLER Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting CPA preferred 3‑5 years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred Excellent management, communication, and interpersonal skills Team‑oriented attitude Target salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 DOE.
