Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse is needed at a facility located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized care to adult oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration, port management, and telemetry monitoring. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Missouri (MO) license or compact license (no issuance if tied to another compact state); license in hand required at time of submittal; 1 year of experience in oncology or chemotherapy; current ACLS, BLS, and chemotherapy certifications (ONS/ONCC).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the oncology department as needed and will be floated to units with greatest need per shift.
• Additional Information: The role involves administering chemotherapy, managing ports, performing blood draws, starting and maintaining IVs, and interpreting telemetry. The unit supports auto stem cell transplants, chemotherapy, and management of blood cancer complications such as GVHD.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), ONS/ONCC required.
• Experience: 0 years minimum required.
• Submittal Requirements: Submit without license; license in hand required at time of submittal.
• Community Hospital Experience: Not specified.
