As a Digital Sales Representative (DSR), you will play a key role in accelerating the adoption, utilization, and long-term success of Intuitive's digital ecosystem. The DSR is responsible for expanding the footprint of Intuitive's digital portfolio by identifying opportunities, driving customer engagement, delivering consultative sales support, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of digital solutions across assigned accounts.

Working closely with surgeons, healthcare organizations, and cross-functional partners, the DSR will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Intuitive's digital products. This role bridges commercial execution and customer success by driving sales growth, supporting product utilization, gathering customer feedback, and ensuring customers realize the full value of Intuitive's digital offerings.

Our digital portfolio includes My Intuitive+, which enhances robotic-assisted surgery programs through AI-powered video analysis, real-time surgical collaboration, and console-integrated simulation, all designed to help surgeons sharpen their skills and optimize performance. The My Intuitive+ platform is available exclusively with da Vinci 5.

Essential Job Duties:

• Develop and execute territory plans to drive awareness, adoption, utilization, and growth of Intuitive's digital portfolio.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales, adoption, and utilization objectives.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and manage all stages of the sales process.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.

• Consult with surgeons, hospital leadership, clinical teams, and administrators to understand customer needs and align digital solutions to their clinical and operational goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary digital solutions resource for customers within assigned accounts.

• Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers, Clinical Territory Associates, Capital Sales teams, and Digital Networking teams to develop account strategies and identify digital sales opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Clinical, Engineering, and Operations teams to support business objectives

• Drive product utilization through customer education, onboarding, and training
• Ensure surgeons are trained and equipped to access and utilize digital solutions.

• Build relationships with key surgeon thought leaders and KOLs to expand awareness and create advocacy for Intuitive's digital portfolio.
• Support regional and national marketing initiatives, trade shows, customer events, and educational programs.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the medical field
• Proven experience with cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to communicate and present ideas clearly to internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders (surgeons, nurse managers, hospital C-suite leadership)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently remotely with some in person sales activities
• Self-led with ability to navigate complex sales scenarios
• Great time management and a detailed organization approach in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree required
• Able to travel up to 50%, some short notice travel required
• Able to enter surgical and other patient care areas

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Understands the basics of HL7, PACS (picture archival and communications), DICOM, EPIC interfaces, etc.
• Experience working in hospital operating room environments preferred
• Experience in training physicians preferred
