$2284.80/week - Job Summary: Seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel assignment at a Free Standing Emergency Department. The role involves conducting point of care testing, performing clerical duties, and supporting ER laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Perform point of care testing and laboratory procedures accurately and efficiently. Support clerical functions as assigned by nursing staff and Lab Director to ensure smooth FSED operations. Maintain compliance with laboratory policies and safety standards. Collaborate with ER staff to provide timely and precise lab results. Adhere to certification requirements and industry best practices. Document test results and laboratory data properly in the EMR system. Qualifications: Hold ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), CLS, or Medical Technologist. Possess at least 2 years of laboratory experience in a clinical setting. Demonstrate proficiency in point of care testing procedures. Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willing to perform clerical duties as needed. Able to work various shifts, including weekends and on-call, if required.
