Medical Lab Scientist (MLS)

We are seeking a skilled Medical Lab Scientist to join our team in a Free Standing Emergency Room. The successful candidate will perform Point of Care Testing and other laboratory duties as necessary to support operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Point of Care Testing for patients.
• Carry out clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and the Lab Director.
• Support the operational needs of the facility and ensure compliance with all protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP or an equivalent body.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of Point of Care Testing procedures is preferred.
