As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in Madison, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and communications location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, clear communication, and working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor processing and badge-related procedures.
- Support a professional environment by communicating with employees, guests, and site contacts regarding security-related questions, directions, and/or incident information.
Minimum Requirements:
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
