Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in Silverdale, Washington. This position involves supporting cardiac surgical procedures, including vascular and thoracic cases, within a dynamic surgical environment. The role provides opportunities for skill development in robotics and vascular surgeries, with a focus on patient care excellence.

Job Details:

• Certified RN with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• WA state license required for CVOR technologist.
• No minimum years of experience specified; typically requires at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start date: 08/03/2026.
• COVID-19 vaccine required.
• Unit notes indicate the need for flexibility with block scheduling and floating assignments to other OR areas as needed.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.
• Call requirements: 6-8 on-call shifts per month starting at 9 PM and ending at 6:30 AM. Weekends include 12-hour day or night calls and 24-hour backup shifts, with a 30-minute response time.
• Holiday coverage by rotation.
• The role involves supporting a range of cardiac and vascular procedures, including robotic surgeries, with potential training provided for robotics.
• Scrubbing is preferred but not required; charge nurse and resource nurse responsibilities are included.
• Floats may occur to main ORs; vascular cases and thoracic procedures are common.
• Floor-specific orientation lasts one week.
