Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned job sites Coordinate subcontractors and maintain project schedules Ensure quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction Coordinate inspections, permits, utilities, and city interactions Manage punch lists and project closeout items Perform light carpentry or jobsite adjustments when needed Track project budgets and approve invoices related to assigned projects Maintain daily logs and documentation in construction management software Provide weekly written updates to clients and leadership Participate in bi-weekly leadership meetings to review project progress Perform material takeoffs and verify quantities Request subcontractor bids and assist with change order pricing Maintain photo documentation and project tracking logs Communicate professionally with clients, trades, inspectors, and internal leadership Take ownership of projects from ground break through final completion Balance approximately 50% field leadership with 50% project coordination/administration Requirements 2+ years as a Superintendent or PM/Superintendent hybrid Strong experience with residential builds, townhomes, or small multifamily projects Experience coordinating site work, dirt work, and underground utilities Candidates with strong residential construction backgrounds who are stepping into their first full Superintendent role are encouraged to apply Experience with BuilderTrend, Construction Online, Procore, or similar systems is a plus Drug- and alcohol-free workplace requirements Pre-employment background and drug testing required (illegal substances only) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on residential builds and effective coordination of subcontractors and project schedules.
