Adjunct Instructor, Building Integrated Campaigns

Course Overview The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California is seeking a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 450: Building Integrated Campaigns . This course is a culminating, professionally oriented seminar that synthesizes prior coursework and applies it to strategic analysis, case studies, and the development of integrated public relations campaigns. Responsibilities Guide students in strategic analysis, planning, and the Strategic Integrated Planning (SIP) method. Coach student teams in client engagement and the evolution of campaigns from concept to execution. Mentor students in professional development, including resume building, interviewing skills, and job‑search strategies. Facilitate oral presentations and critiques of recent successful campaigns. Keep current with industry trends and practices across sectors. Qualifications B.A., B.S., M.S., or M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience is desirable. Outstanding professional experience may substitute for academic credentials. Compensation & Employment Conditions The hourly rate for this position is $37.88 – $46.96. USC reserves the Adjunct appointment for faculty teaching less than full‑time at USC who are employed full‑time in a primary profession or career elsewhere.
