University of Southern California - Sol Price School of Public Policy Position Overview The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a working professional with expertise in nonprofit management, public administration, public affairs, or a related field to serve as an Adjunct Instructor of Local Governance in the Department of Public Policy and Management. Qualifications Master's degree or doctorate in public administration, public policy, public affairs, or a related field such as political science or sociology. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: local government, collaborative governance, city/county management, or related courses. Preferable prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations. Responsibilities Deliver graduate‑level course content and instruction. Develop and submit a syllabus outlining course goals, schedule, and requirements. Schedule office hours and be accessible to students as appropriate. Grade student work and provide evaluations. Participate in course‑related meetings as directed by the Department Chair. Compensation Hourly rate range: $29.06/hr – $38.89/hr.
