Overview University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy Adjunct Instructor of Real Estate Product Type Development Department of Real Estate Development The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a working professional with expertise and primary position in position in the area of commercial real estate development. The candidate will be able to teach undergraduate and/or graduate level real estate course with content focused on technology in real estate (covering new technology such as AI enhanced and proptech tools to support the real estate development process including entitlements, design, construction, finance, due diligence and underwriting, market analysis, project management, asset management and portfolio management). The successful candidate should possess an advanced degree in a related field (such as MArch, MBA, MRED, MA in Economics, MS in Engineering or Construction Management). The candidate must also have significant professional experience in commercial real estate development, investment or proptech. Preference given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations. Responsibilities Adjunct instructor responsibilities include delivery of course content, scheduling office hours and being accessible to students as appropriate, and grading. Each instructor is expected to provide students with a syllabus outlining the course goals, schedule and all requirements for the course under the direction of the Department Chair. Position Details The hourly rate range for this position is $29.06/hr. - $38.89/hr.
