Description General Job Brief: The Adjunct Professor will instruct BIB131 Discipleship I . Instructors are responsible for the preparation and deliveryofallcoursematerialsincludingthesyllabus,lecture,andothercoursedeliverypreparation,as well as keeping attendance records.
This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian missionandvisionofACUtoTransformCulturewithTruth,andtheabilitytoadvancethatmissionand vision through classroom instruction and person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.
Prerequisite Qualifications: Applicantsmust possessa master’sor Ph.D.degree withan emphasisin Bible, Theology, or Christian Ministries OR have a pastoral recommendation from their home church indicating the ability and experience in leading a small group.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Strongorganizational skills and e videnceofaChristiancommitmentwithinterestinandabilitytointegrateorthodoxbiblical principles and learning
Typical Duties:
Supervision and instruction of students in classroom settings
Evaluation of subject matter taught and maintenance of student records
Participation in departmental and university-wide meetings
Providespiritual support and prayer to students and staff

Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach or sit for long periods of time
