Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting vibrant school communities in the Ruskin, FL area. Work on-site within two schools—Buffalo Creek Middle and Prine Elementary—making a meaningful impact in the lives of students ranging from preschool to middle school age. This full-time, contract role spans the school year through late May, offering a collaborative environment with dedicated professionals and supportive leadership.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Florida SLP License (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
• Experience providing therapy in school settings, especially with low cognitive and behavioral needs, is highly valued
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with other SLPs, SLPAs, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering student growth and supporting inclusive education

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct speech and language therapy to approximately 50 students at Buffalo Creek Middle (4-day assignment) and serving additional consultative needs
• Supporting a dynamic team at Prine Elementary, working alongside another full-time SLP and a skilled part-time SLPA to meet the needs of intensive PK, ASD, integrated PK, and low cognitive classrooms (caseload of around 95 students across all therapists)
• Developing, implementing, and tracking individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to enable student success
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation to uphold compliance and service quality
