Base Pay $19.00 / Hour Chroma Color in McHenry, IL is hiring directly for Production Operators for 1st shift! We work 10 hour days Monday through Thursday a nd there is a possibility we may go back to 8 hour days in 2027. Your job as an Operator is to create batches of materials by weighing and mixing dyes, pigments and chemical additives for use in various plastic materials. Overtime as needed during the week and on Fridays/Saturdays What’s the Job? Carefully follow safety and cleaning protocols, and ensure that product is made accurately, according to specifications, avoiding waste of time and resources. Able to understand and follow written work instructions to extrude material per specifications meeting production targets and quality requirements. Complete required paperwork and ensures process consistency. Keep work area organized and safe at all times. Comply with all EHS requirements. Ability to frequently: lift or move up to 50 pounds; bend and scoop from drums and gaylords; and roll drums up to 300 pounds Additional duties as assigned, including housekeeping and assisting in other areas.
