Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk for our client in Frankfort, IL. This is a contract-to-hire opportunitysuccessful candidates may be offered a permanent position after 3-6 months, depending on performance and attendance. Candidates must have experience using UPS WorldShip.

Available Shifts & Pay: Monday Friday, 7:00am 3:30pm $17/hr $18/hr, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and receive all outbound orders shipped via UPS and LTL carriers
• Position inventory in the correct warehouse locations
• Record and track freight movement
• Accurately maintain cycle counts and inventory records
• Pull stock for orders using daily BOL bundles or bulk pick lists
• Sort, pack, and palletize orders as required
• Maintain accurate documentation for every shipment, self-checking and QC requesting as needed
• Receive inbound freight; inspect for accuracy and report damages or discrepancies
• Notify management of any order issues or inventory shortages
• Replenish shipping supplies and notify manager as needed
• Pick and assemble product assortments
• Assist with cycle counts and review shipping orders
• Unload containers and assist with warehouse duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized warehouse at all times

Requirements:

• Experience with UPS WorldShip is required
• Computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office programs
• Forklift experience is required
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Small package handling and shipping experience is preferred
• Good math and organization skills
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Self-starter, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
