Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns. We are seeking a Senior ETL Developer with 10+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, and production support. This role will support Treasury ADS applications by providing L3 production support, delivering BAU enhancements, resolving complex data issues, and ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, be capable of making quick decisions during production incidents, and work effectively with business, architecture, development, QA, and support teams in a global delivery environment. Responsibilities: Provide L3 support for critical production ETL applications and data pipelines Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within SLA commitments Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed technical designs Collaborate with Information Architecture, Business Analysts, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions Drive BAU enhancements, defect remediation, and production support activities Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to offshore teams Support audit, compliance, data quality, and governance initiatives Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices Coordinate with L1/L2 support, QA, infrastructure, and upstream/downstream partners Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and operational efficiency Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Automates manual release activities Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and production support Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment Experience working with globally distributed teams and offshore delivery models Design, develop, enhance, and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and implementation activities Develop high-level and detailed technical designs to address business and technical requirements Support multiple projects and enhancement requests concurrently while ensuring quality delivery Support data quality initiatives and ensure data integrity across processing systems Participate in audit reviews and compliance-related activities Assist in implementing controls, monitoring, and validation processes Ensure adherence to enterprise development, governance, and operational policies Required Technical Skills: Primary Skills Informatica PowerCenter ETL Design & Development Data Warehousing SQL Development & Performance Tuning Secondary Skills Hadoop Ecosystem Hive Spark HDFS Database & Development Skills Oracle Exadata Oracle Database / PL-SQL UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting Autosys Production Support Skills Incident Management Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Application Monitoring Release & Change Management Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field Banking, Treasury, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting domain experience Strong understanding of end-to-end data processing, data models, and data distribution frameworks Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance initiatives Exposure to Agile development methodologies Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical discussions Knowledge of CI/CD tools and operational best practices Skills: Application Development Automation Influence Solution Design Technical Strategy Development Architecture Business Acumen DevOps Practices Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process Analytical Thinking Collaboration Data Management Risk Management Test Engineering Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 4010+ years experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Hobbsnews
