Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal Assistant, based in Bolingbrook, IL. The Paralegal Assistant will assist attorneys with legal document preparation, perform legal research, handle client communication, and support case administration. Additional responsibilities include managing files, ensuring compliance with deadlines, and providing notary services when required. The role requires attention to detail and collaboration within a team-oriented, fast-paced legal environment.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to understand and navigate legal principles and practices
Skills in Legal Document Preparation and expertise in ensuring accurate and compliant drafting and filing of legal documents
Notary certification or the willingness to obtain the certification promptly
Excellent Communication skills, with a focus on client interaction and effective collaboration with team members
Proficiency in conducting thorough Legal Research to support case strategies
Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management
Proficiency with legal software and case management tools is a plus
Associate's degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies strongly preferred
Previous experience in a law office is an advantage but not mandatory
