Locum Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery, Wausau, WI (IMLC Accepted)

Provider Type: Advanced Practice Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus hours EMR System: Epic Practice Setting : Inpatient Patients Per Shift: 1-3 Does your Facility require physicians to be board certified?: Yes Fellowship : Preferred Minimum Board Certification: Eligible Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): 30 What is the license requirement to bid?: Licensed in WI or IMLC

NP/PA first assist role for assisting cardiothoracic surgery procedures and veinharvesting. Minimum of 3 assistants scheduled per day. 1-3 surgical procedures per day. No hospital rounding requirement or admission requirement. 1 call day per week and 1 day backup. 1:4 weekend call rotation. 20 minute response time to call. Low call back need, typically 1-2x per month. Shifts are 6:30-15:00 Monday-Friday. Call and call back up start at 15:00. Weekend call starts Friday at 15:00 until Monday at 6:30
