HR Generalist / Recruiter

Be our first in-house HR hire. Phiston designs and manufactures high-security data destruction equipment — industrial shredders, disintegrators, and degaussers — used by hyperscale data centers, ITAD providers, and enterprises in 52 countries. We're a growing manufacturer with operations in South Florida, Northern Virginia, and Sweden. We're looking for one person to own HR end to end: no HR team above you, no corporate recruiting center to hand things off to. You'll report directly to ownership and build the function your way. Recruiting comes first. We have open roles across engineering, production, quality, field service, warehouse, and finance in Florida and Virginia. You'll source actively — LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, direct outreach — screen, schedule, and close. You'll also help us select and set up our ATS. Then it grows into the full people role. Onboarding and day-one I-9s, Paychex administration and open enrollment, manager coaching, employee relations, and being the person our employees know and go to on the shop floor. What we're looking for 5+ years of combined HR generalist and full-cycle recruiting experience — you've done both, and you've done both recently Proven experience carrying multiple open requisitions at once Hands-on sourcing — you've found people who weren't applying Working knowledge of I-9/E-Verify, FLSA, and Florida employment compliance HRIS or PEO administration experience (Paychex a plus) Manufacturing, industrial, or field-services background strongly preferred Sole or primary HR experience at a small company strongly preferred Responsive and direct — nobody should have to chase you What you'll get $75,000–$110,000 base 401(k) with 100% match up to 6% Medical, dental, and vision after 60 days — we cover 90% of employee medical premiums; dental and vision are free to employees Two bonuses per year Paid holidays, PTO, and floating holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Phiston Technologies
