Account Specialist - Enterprise Special Services

The Enterprise Special Services team is expanding rapidly and is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to enhance the shipper experience for vendors and sellers utilizing inbound transportation services. The role involves working directly with shippers to develop solutions and take action to improve performance metrics, amidst ongoing innovations in transportation and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, verify, and present data on a daily basis.
• Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time.
• Identify root causes of transportation defects.
• Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers.
• Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.
• Conduct daily business review stand-up calls.

Essential Skills

• Experience in the transportation and supply chain industry.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think outside the box.
• Experience in freight, vendor management, account management, fleet, and transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
• Understanding of basic data analytical skills.
• Experience in writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals.
• Entry-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with spreadsheets, pivot tables, and data navigation.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.

Work Environment

The role requires 100% in-office presence. The ESS team is highly collaborative and friendly, with a presence in Phoenix, Nashville, and Atlanta. Enjoy a hybrid schedule within a 20+ floor high-rise office featuring an in-house caf, snack bar, rooftop, and free coffee. The team culture is laid back yet fast-paced, encouraging idea sharing and problem-solving. Training will be provided for internal transportation management and ground control systems.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
