Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with experience in pharmacy operations and potentially Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) responsibilities. This role is based in an independent pharmacy environment, providing a hands-on leadership position that offers the chance to grow into a Pharmacy Manager role.
Location: Shelburne Falls, MA
Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 13-week duration with potential for direct hire
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Manage prescription processing and order entry using Computer RX system
- Collaborate with a team of three pharmacy technicians
- Serve as the primary pharmacist on site during assigned shifts
- Provide excellent patient care and professional counseling on medications
- Support business operations and help optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts
- Prior retail pharmacy experience required
- Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge is preferred, but motivated staff pharmacists eager to develop into a PIC or Pharmacy Manager role are encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
