Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized experience to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and must have a strong background in cardiac catheterization and associated procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and manage patient care throughout procedures.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during cardiac procedures.
- Assist with structural heart, vascular, diagnostic procedures, impella, ECMO, and emergent catheterization cases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Participate in call coverage of 2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with specific expertise in the Cath Lab.
- Experience in structural heart, vascular, diagnostic procedures, impella, ECMO, and emergent catheterization cases required.
- EPIC experience is necessary.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Resuscitation Course (ARC-ALS) certification required.
- Previous acute care facility experience is preferred.
Schedule
The role will operate on a day shift, Monday through Friday, with potential start times of 7 AM or 8 AM, concluding between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
