Pay Range: $60K–$80K DOE

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative manages a portfolio of customers and oversees the full quote-to-order process. This role focuses on qualifying RFQs, preparing accurate pricing, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth order execution from entry through delivery.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident navigating technical product details while maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships to support repeat business and account growth.
• Qualify incoming RFQs and gather required details such as pricing, part verification, inventory status, and delivery needs.
• Prepare accurate quotations and ensure all terms, pricing, and delivery information are correct.
• Follow up on open quotes to maximize conversion and document outcomes.
• Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and enter approved orders into the system.
• Manage customer orders from entry through shipment, including changes, cancellations, returns, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm inventory, manage lead times, and support timely fulfillment.
• Communicate order status, delays, and delivery expectations clearly and professionally.
• Support account strategy execution alongside Account Leaders and Sales Managers.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and collaborate with internal subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Inside Sales or customer service experience in a technical, industrial, or product-driven environment.
• Experience preparing or managing quotations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Quote-to-order management experience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive communication and follow-up discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with technical products, parts, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office systems.
• Familiarity with part numbers, product nomenclature, or similar technical detail.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
