Senior Product Data Analyst

Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst to be a strategic partner to our product teams and make sure data sits at the core of how we make decisions. In this role, you’ll:

• Lead continuous discovery efforts by guiding PMs in defining and measuring success metrics, running assumption tests, and building iterative learning into how they work.
• Design robust experimentation frameworks, evaluate experiment results, and iterate on key hypotheses.
• Build scalable product analytics frameworks that standardize how teams make data-driven decisions.
• Enable self-service analytics by improving access to data through Metabase, Amplitude, and Secoda so teams can explore product insights independently.
• Mentor junior analysts on statistical methodology, experimentation best practices, and storytelling with data.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership regularly to influence product roadmaps.
• Champion best practices for both Product Managers and internal data teams around data-driven decision making, experimentation, data governance, and standardization.
• Leverage SQL, dbt, and Snowplow to transform and analyze product data.
• Connect data insights to broader business strategy and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Help foster a culture of experimentation, curiosity, and data-driven learning across Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data analytics, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, dbt, Snowplow, Amplitude, and Secoda (or equivalent tools).
• Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis-driven research, and experiment design.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, causal inference, and data visualization.
• Experience designing and implementing analytics frameworks for scalable decision-making.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence product teams and executives through insights and strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency in storytelling with data and translating insights into strategy.
• Prior experience in SaaS or fast-growing tech environments preferred.
• Comfortable working in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment.

Requirements

• Location: This is a remote position. You must live and work permanently in the U.S. to be considered.

Benefits

• This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting salary range is $130,000-$140,000 per year and is based on experience.
