Industry Marketing Manager - Oil and Gas

Position is based on-site in Houston, TX. The Industry Marketing Manager leads the development of the go-to-market strategy for the oil and gas industry, collaborating with leaders and specialists to grow the Endress+Hauser brand. This role requires a strong passion for industry advocacy, staying informed on trends, competition, pricing, and product needs while building a network, traveling to key industry locations, and training local teams on an applications-focused approach. The role strengthens the organization’s understanding of customer processes while showcasing our unique industry value propositions. Which tasks will you perform? Drive market share growth within the strategic industry by developing and executing a comprehensive industry plan Lead cross-functional stakeholders to establish a 3 to 5 year business roadmap, aligning on objectives and implementing annual action plans to achieve defined targets Strengthen relationships with strategic accounts and key industry players, supporting their development and long-term engagement Develop and promote the industry value proposition, ensuring differentiation and competitive positioning Monitor and analyze long-term market trends, including evolving customer needs and regulatory developments, while contributing to the global industry network Provide strategic insights to the organization, translating vision into actionable outcomes that drive business success. What do we expect from you? You will have (required): Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field (engineering, business, marketing, etc.) or 5+ years related experience Required travel: 30-50%, primarily within the US (some international) You may have (preferred): 3 years of gas measurement experience Experience in industry marketing with direct customer engagement, preferably within the oil and gas industry Background in strategic marketing and customer development within the industry Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative Demonstrates moral courage by standing up for their beliefs, taking justifiable risks, addressing contradictions, and knowing when to say no Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit.
