Operations Manager

Lead Lean Transformation
Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives across operations. Identify and execute projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process redesign. Partner with operations, engineering, and quality teams. Track and report key operational metrics and KPIs. Train and mentor teams on Lean principles and tools. Support leadership with strategic improvement initiatives. Drive standardization and best practice implementation.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer serving industrial and engineered product markets, with a strong presence in Northeast Ohio. They are investing heavily in process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational scalability.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Operations Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree required (Engineering or related preferred)
- 5-10 years in Lean, CI, or operations-focused roles
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Experience leading Kaizen events and improvement projects
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred:
- Six Sigma Belt/Formal Lean Certifications
- Experience in metals, industrial, or high-volume manufacturing
- Track record of measurable operational improvements
