Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in San Jose, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily skills following injury, illness, or decline. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a 130-bed skilled nursing environment and to support a multidisciplinary team focused on functional outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Skilled nursing facility experience preferred. Availability to work a schedule that includes Monday through Friday with an alternate weekend rotation. Ability to manage typical caseloads in a 130-bed post-acute/skilled nursing setting. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with documentation systems used in skilled nursing settings preferred. Experience treating medically complex and geriatric populations preferred. Assignment Details M-F schedule with alternate weekend rotation. 36 hours per week.
