Responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a targeted list of event sponsors and corporate partners. Also engages in developing a base of philanthropic support for the organization, formulates and implements fundraising strategies to grow the base of support for the organization, in coordination with the leader. Closely works with various leaders to promote and further the fundraising goals and priorities of the hospital.Experience Qualifications5 years of direct fundraising or related experience in event sponsorships and corporate partnerships for nonprofits, preferably in a healthcare settingTransferable or related experience such as marketing, public relations, or sales will be consideredEducation QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeSKILLS AND ABILITIESFamiliarity with fundraising software (preference given to Raiser’s Edge).Strong written and personal communication skills.Good organizational ability and interpersonal skills.Strong project management skills including the ability to effectively manage budgets, communication timelines and portfolio managementThe above job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by people assigned to this work.
