Key Responsibilities\n

As our Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients entering detox and developing personalized treatment plans based on their unique situations.

• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate recovery in clients dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

• Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA standards, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborating closely with a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create an integrated approach to care.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance treatment efficacy and share insights with colleagues.

• Providing education to clients and their families about mental health issues, available resources, and recovery options to foster informed decision-making.

• Continuously updating your knowledge of best practices and advancements in the mental health field to ensure your interventions are effective and relevant.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily comprise individuals undergoing detoxification from substances while also grappling with additional mental health challenges. Your role will involve addressing a diverse range of issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders, ensuring that every client receives holistic and personalized care tailored to their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
\n
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services.
\n
• Expertise in conducting diagnostic assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A strong commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical best practices in mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in substance use treatment or related settings is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant clinical software.

Compensation and Benefits\n
